The Spur bit is a hot forged carbon steel bit, heat treated for added strength. These bits are designed with dual chip lifters and a saw tooth rim that allows faster, cooler cutiing. The unique non-clogging design lets you drill precise holes without burning while running at high speed. Referred to as the clockmakers bit, it is also used by fine furniture makers in any type of soft or hard wood. USE IN A DRILL PRESS ONLY. Overall lenght is 6" and shank size is 1/2" for all but the 3-1/4" through 4" bits, which are 5/8". |
